THE GAME

TTIP Game Over kicks off in Brussels!

Where civil disobedience and creativity meet to stop the TTIP negotiations.
The negotiators are currently haggling over our rights, selling our democratic principles and auctioning off this planet. In other words, they are playing with our future. If they want to play around, so can we, but well play by our own rules!
The first Round is 11-15 July 2016 – during the actual TTIP negotiations. Several teams, primarily Belgian, will take part in actions in order to DISRUPT THE NEGOTIATIONS WITH NOISE.
Teams will organize actions under the slogan “MAKE SOME NOISE!”: marching bands, alarms, choirs, smashing pots and pans… In short, the aim is to make as much noise as possible in order to drown out the negotiators and make ourselves heard!
May the games begin!

RULES OF THE GAME

How to participate?

1. CREATE YOUR TEAM

– either bring your affinity group
– or use this chance to create a new group via friends and acquaintances
– or participate in one of the speed dating evenings to create a new group

2. PLAN YOUR ACTION

Organise and plan your actions between the 11th and the 15th of July! Find some inspiration in our box of ideas. Or accept a pre-planned mission via contacting TTIPGAMEOVER@riseup.net

3. ACT!

JUST DO IT, put your plan into action within the framework of the action consensus and, above all, film it! Nothing creates noise like images!

But be prudent about your images. Depending on your objectives, act unmasked or preserve your anonymity.

Need a cameraman? Contact ttipgameover@riseup.net.

4. COMMUNICATE

Post your video and, later on, your message / press release AND send us the link so that we can relay it on our website!

5. CELEBRATE !

Join us at the award ceremony on the 15th of July to celebrate our victories. Who will have completed the most audacious act? Who will have created the most noise? Who will have whispered into the negotiators’ ears? Who will have made the best video? And, above all, will we have collected enough points to move on to Round 2?
